Project Update – June 6

The new south walkway is now open and looking fabulous! The landscaped areas adjacent to the south walkway will remain behind construction fencing for another 3-4 weeks to enable their full rooting.

You will be able to access the front entrance of University Settlement from the south walkway and from Grange Road.

The temporary park area on Beverley Street is now closed to become part of the construction zone. All other areas of Grange Park will remain closed for construction activity.

Work will continue in the following areas:

• The foundation is being prepared for the ramp and decorative water feature on the north side of the park
• The pipes for the new water features are being installed
• Construction is continuing for the new utility building at the south-east corner of the park.
• Cement curbs for the pathways are continuing to be poured

We appreciate your continued patience as we work to complete this exciting project! View the project’s timeline and the list of parks and greenspaces that are available in the neighbourhood while Grange Park is under construction.
