Grange Park Toronto Canada

Project Update – December 22

We are very pleased to report that the project is now 80% complete. Work will continue, weather permitting, until the end of January. The site will then be closed during February and March. Work will resume in April (again, weather permitting!) to complete the play area, water features, great lawn and dog off-leash area, finish construction of the washrooms and maintenance building and take care of final plantings and placement of furniture. The sculpture Large Two Forms by Henry Moore will also move to the north west corner of the park in the spring.

The south path and east-west path will continue to have any snow removed during the winter months.

We are on track for Grange Park to reopen in late spring 2017. We will be sure to keep you informed of the project’s progress as the final elements are put in place.

Stay tuned for more information about a community event to celebrate the revitalized Grange Park!
